What does everyone think of the new Gundams?
(If you've seen them). I'm not too sure about the Virtue... it looks a bit too chunky to be a Gundam, but then we've yet to see it in action. Also, can anyone tell me wheather the character with the classes is a man or a woman? The face, hair and clothes say its female but the body does not look right for a woman... unless she's still a child but I seriously doubt that by her/his looks. Anyway, for those who have seen the pics, tell me what you think.

He's officially recognized as being male for now, but his bio makes a suspicious emphasis on the fact that he looks very feminine and that his past is unknown. I personally suspect he's either a woman in disguise or some sort of genderless lab experiment, otherwise they wouldn't bring his looks up as much as they do. |

Is any official art of the new Gundams available? The screenshots from that short little promo didn't show enough from me to really make a judgment or even remember them.
As for the characters... at the moment I can only really remember Setsuna (mainly because he looks kind of like that main character from Loveless) and I still can't stop laughing at "Allelujah Baptism." |

There are some very nice piccies on the official Gundam00 site (Japanese only), but being as I can't read Japanese I can only speculate.
I won't give the site addres here, but there is a link via the encyclopedia. I must admit that when I first saw Yzak from SEED I though he was female. It was the hair that done it.

Just out of interest, who do you think Setsuna resembles most:
Heero from Wing or Shinn from SEED Destiny? What with another of the Double-O characters looking like Trowa Barton, I'm beginning to think this series is a retake on Gundam Wing. Any one got any info on the plot? |

ANN had a brief synopsis of the premise. I don't think anyone has any real information beyond that.

Well if you want to see full frontal images of the Gundams that you can look at them here. Some of them remind of the Arm Slave Sousuke Sagara uses in FMP!. Heh just imagine, instead of the seed...they yell out "Lam*** Dr***r!"
Sometime chunky robots can be cool too, just look at the PMX-003 "The O" but anyways I think it looks better than this Gundam. |

None of the Gundam designs are really jumping out at me at the moment. The Dynames is kind of nice, I guess.

These are the same as the ones of the official site, but it's in English so we can see their armaments & pilots. Reckon the virtue might be like Heavyarms from Wing anyone? i.e. stuffed to the vents with weapons. From the looks of the exterior armour I'd say parts are detachable. We'll see I suppose. The best looking so far I think is the Exia and the Kyrios, what does everyone else think? And is it me, or does Tieria resemble Lady Une from Wing. The whole look of 00 so far reminds me a heck of a lot of Wing. |

They look good. Love the new characters and gundams. The guy with the long dark hair has hair like me except mine is straight down. Can't wait to see how the unicorn gundam performs in the new uc show. I think it will have animation like gundam seed (destiny).

Where'd you find this stuff? Google? Lookin' good though, especially the Exia. Dynames looks like the Buster and Kyrios resembles the M-1 Astray mobile suits of Orb.
Where did you find that? I know very little about the UC universe, bar what I've found from hereand a few other sites. I'm tempted to get the original Gundam but I hear that it's in the English dub only. (I steer clear of dub). |

You seem to be confused. Gundam Unicorn is a novel, it is not being animated, nor are there any definitive plans to animate it at this time. Gundam 00 is something else entirely, and does not take place in the Universal Century, but rather in our own AD calendar.
Don't, most of the early UC Gundam DVD releases had very good dubs, Mobile Suit Gundam included. Wasn't until after G Gundam that the Gundam dubs started sucking hardcore. |

Thanks Nagisa, but I'll think I'll wait and see if a sub version comes out.
No offence to the Americans intended but I just cannot stand English dub. (Even if it was British) Moving on: 
From the pictures of the models I would think the Virtue is aMobile Suit version of a heavy-weapons platform. You seen the size of that gun? I reckon that could kick some serious [censored]!
