Is there a site that specializes in out of print anime or something? I've tried googling it, but I didn't find anything right. I'm looking for Princess Tutu v. 1 DVD and can't find anything but discs 2-6, which my friend already has.

DvD Box office usually has a good amount of out of print stuff.

But you do pay for it. $34.95 CAD, $30.39 USD But they do have it in stock.

If you check DVDpricesearch.com, other stores have the single volumes in stock. I wonder if this is a scheme of ADV's to counteract the "wait for the singles to come out on clearance when the thinpack gets released" strategy that many people approach. Then again, Tutu was apparently a poor enough seller that it makes sense to say "Screw it, we're not making any more of these."

Yeah, I've been looking, but a lot of those are either on order or backordered or out of stock. Although thanks for the site, I'll try using that for future searching!

I don't know if it's officially out of print, but they are getting really hard to find, especially #1. I haven't seen any copies in stores for a while, and online stock seems to be limited.

Sorry, but you are wrong. All the stores listed from that engine(except the one I mentioned) say they are sold out, unavailable or on order. All which mean the same thing, none in stock. And since ADV's store is also sold out, I imagine they will have some difficulty ordering more. We are only talking V.1 here. I suppose it might be worth a shot and put an order in one of those other places to try to save some money, but if you already know they don't have any in storage, and that it might be OoP...

As far as thinpacks, that an interesting little strategy you put forth. Razz

Edit:
Looks like I posted about the same time kyokun703 did.
