Don't know if anyone has posted a similar thread.
Has anyone seen this series or know anything about it? Also, doesn't anyone know if the company [Super Techno Arts] that licensed it has decided to release it or has that licensed been dropped in the hopes that someone else can pick it up.  ?:
I don't get it! This is so annoyingly stupid! That a company would license a feature and announce it's released for 2005 then not do anything or announce any changes. That's like someone making a promise to make ice cream and then you sit on your ass and watch TV on the day you should be fullfilling this promise.  If they weren't sure that they were going to release the series they should have waited to see if they really would be able.
I'm sure they probably got bombarded with e-mails concerning this title and possibly ignored them. Which is the reason why there isn't any info. on their site. I'm baffled that they had any involvement in anything anime related. Yet no one can even say if the series is still licensed or not!
I hope that someone else decides to pick it up and release it. After all they're not doing anything with it. |

I downloaded the first episode a while back because I heard it had to do with ninjas. When I read the Encyc. entry, it said "adults only," but it wasn't even graphic to the level of hentai when I watched it. I'd say it was about as graphic as Ninja Scroll (the movie) in that you'd see all sorts of dismemberments and a few sex scenes with bouncing breasts and lots of moaning, but they never show any genitalia or even censored/mosaic views like regular Japanese hentai usually do. Then again, the version I downloaded said "censored" in it, so maybe the U.S. DVD release shows that stuff?
Needless to say, it's not even that great an anime to begin with. It's set during Sengoku Jidai and had something to with an assassination plot on some big-wig politicians or whoever. The first episode hardly even concentrates on the plot and is only filled with mindless violence of these kunoichi disguising themselves as prostitutes and killing off a bunch of horny men who were dumb enough to fall for their trick. But I think they tried to make it more "dramatic" by adding a male character who is supposedly the boss of one of the kunoichi, and she has feelings for him or something, and her comrades keep teasing her to sleep with him, which manages to piss her off. If this is suppose to be hentai, it's got above average production values, that's for sure. I'd say it's comparible to any regular TV series from around the late 90s to early 2000s, and they even got Marco D'Ambrosio to do the music (the guy that did VHD: Bloodlust), though it sounds pretty generic (much like his Bloodlust score did). I would recommend you not try searching for this, since it's basically a watered-down version of Ninja Scroll, but with more sex. However, if B-movie type hentai is your thing (though even the sex scenes aren't that great either), I guess you could try buying this series for cheap somewhere. |

Yeah, that's what I figured. Well, you know 'Kawajiri' the guy that directed 'Ninja Scroll' was always a notorious director for throwing graphic sex into his features. There is not a series he hasn't done that doesn't contain some sexual situation along with graphic violence. But from what you described it sounds about right. The description was more along the lines of erotic feature. Because it's production value is pretty high. I guess for the ranking most people just thought it was only good for the battles, sex, gore and disregard for the story. 
Oh well, unfortunately this was one I missed so even if I did search for it there isn't enough around to take a look. Not to mention this title didn't even seem like it ever existed but there is a site. And as far it's release here almost "null-n-void". Oh well. Hopefully, someone will discover it again and be willing to release it. Since 'Super Techno Arts' was the one who was supposed to release it. Thanks for the update.
