It could be legal and/or financial crap which kept it off dvd that long, as I doubt Bandai would not want to take advantage of the CLAMP wave.

OH MY FREAKING GOD!!!!
YESYESYESYESYES
This is a title that I have been wanting to have ever since I didn't buy the VHS set at the first Anime Expo that I went to because I naively assumed that it would be coming out on DVD soon.
This is just great!
I'll have to PM marie-antoinette. I think she'll enjoy this news as well!
I honestly thought this had about as much chance of getting here as Sailor Stars...There's still HOPE! (even though it's two different companies)

Yay! I'm really happy about this one . I wonder how they'll release it... singles? Brick?
This is a definite buy for me. I really love you, Bandai.

Well, finally. I was thinking they'd lost the license, it's been so long.
I even dropped more money than I care to think about on the R2 box when it came out because I was so certain we'd never see it on DVD in the US.
My only question now is "When does it come out?"

Wow.
Yeah!
I know TP didn't seem to fare well with the manga release, but I have been waiting for someone to remember this one. I've always loved the CLamp School titles for being so off-the-wall which might be pasrt of their problem. They're more Dr Slump & Bobobo weird than stuff like CCS or CHobits.

Hmm, i wonder how all the previous problems were worked out. I'm curious how they will actually release these. Been trying to track down the tapes at a reasonable price for awhile now...

Hehe, at the panel, they asked for people to guess the announcement and gave a hint that it was by CLAMP and everyone shouted out Code Geass. Looked like the rep was having a really hard time trying to neither confirm nor deny it.

Well, of course everyone would think of something that was recent. Who would have thought that they would be releasing a title that is 10-year-old.
I'm glad that they are though.
Looking forward to Code Geass too.
