I could have sworn this news was posted here months ago... I remember noting how tacky the hotel was in the mock-up or initial images...

Am I going crazy or do others remember seeing this too?

Wow Playstation 3, not like I can't one of those in stores Rolling Eyes. I think that the IPOD docking station is a really great idea, although it could hurt business on the movie sales....especially with everyone having video ipod.

Actually, this sounds pretty cool. If they've got Japan-inspired heated toilet seats with built in bidets (those of you who've been to Japan know what I'm talking about), then I'm in!

Oh man, I want to check this place out. But my dad moved to Fremont and my aunt is selling her home in the Bay Area. There's hardly any reason anymore besides this to go to San Francisco nowadays for me.

Wow, how cool! I think it sounds like a great idea, and a really cool one for tourists who are also anime fans. When is the center opening, though? I want to check out some of the girls' clothing shops. Anime smile

So how long before someone tries to rob the hotel of the PS3 or the Wii??

(And, yes, I do live in San Francisco and there are some definite unsafe areas nearby...)

Like the idea, but with the big-money people coming into Japantown, it'll probably cost a week's salary just to stay there for one night or something...

I am sure they just charge it to your card with a 200% increase on the system just to make sure ya don't. Wink

Joie de Vivre has many hotels in my area. i didn't know they would do anime sytle hotel. i guess it's time for me to go to SF to check out the new japan town. (around 2 hours drive)
