this site is allowed to exist??
- edit: i removed the site's link -
they host anime series and movies, probably liscenced, and make people pay for it!!! And they aren't paying for the liscence in any means!!! They are making profit on the free work of fansubbers and ignorance of other people. Come on, the concept of fansubbing is free distribution of unliscenced anime... On top of that they hack other sites. Can't anything be done to such sites? This cannot be tolerated...

Illegal is illegal and I can understand why you are frustrated. I won't click the link, but if what you are saying is true this is piracy of piracy for profit and, yes you are right, it is much worse that they are charging for it. It is as bad as bootlegging.
So I think it is OK to vent against it but the only thing I suggest is removing the link. Even if you are against it, posting links to a site that offers downloads is against the rules here.

You would be complaining if you had a site and if it was hacked by them.

Oh yes it can. This site (and to be fair, many others as well) seems to have a sort of "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding piracy. What that basically means is that even though nearly everyone here downloads illegal content we all just agree not to talk about it in any explicit terms. Feel free to discuss the latest details of shows that can only be seen in the US through illegal means, just don't mention how you managed to get a hold of them in the first place and everybody will remain nice and happy.

Now there's a well thought out response.

oh you people drop it... you won't understand what i am trying to point out!!
So you also find fair that a paying website, kills off competition by hacking other sites, offering the same media for free!! Well if all free sites die off someday... i wonder were you shall get your anime for free... If you think that you can depend on torrents for all your downloads, well good for you... but it's not the case for everyone mate...
Paying for fansubbers work is disgusting... Killing off competition by hacking is disgusting...

Oh, the dear, dear fansubbers who are suffering such a disgrace! If only the pirates would respect the tireless work of fansubbers who only want to provide the world with free loot instead of charging for it. Such honorable people, these fansubbers. Why can't they ever get the respect they deserve? Give me a break.

Agreed. Plus, it's really not within this forum's topic to discuss the internal politics of fansub groups or direct-download sites.
