Hiroki Tanaka needs a split. There's the voice actor (田中 宏樹, source 1 and source 2) and the animator (田中 宏紀, source 1 and source 2). There also seems to be another Hiroki who did the editing for the King of Fighters '94 manga way back in the day and he's also on this page. I'm pretty sure that's another person all together from the other two given their birth dates.

split all the staff credits as "animator":
person#87362 If someone can give additional info/confirmation on the Editing credit then I'll split that off from the animator credits. |

Bumping this to say that it turns out the 紀 part of the animator's name is actually read as "nori", not "ki". The initial reading for his given name was "Hiroki", but the Wiki Sakuga page for him lists it now as Hironori Tanaka and the number of hits for "田中 宏紀 たなか ひろのり" far outnumber the hits for "田中 宏紀 たなか ひろき".
Haven't been able to find anything on that "Editing" credit-- not having a source for that entry doesn't help in any case. :-/ |

Given the state of things, I've decided to go ahead with starting to move all of Tanaka's credits to Hironori Tanaka. Most of the credits on Hiroki Tanaka are mine, but if you have any on there feel free to move them over to help out since this dude is pretty prolific.

For the final, final update on this. Tanaka's work was featured on a recent key animation book for Star Driver. I have confirmation from someone who owns the book that the birthdays and name readings on sakuga@wiki were confirmed by this book (among the others is Satoshi Mori, for whiom I had previously made a thread for). So there's a more concrete confirmation that he's called Hironori Tanaka. I've finished moving credits from Hiroki Tanaka, so that can be purged now.

Purged Hiroki TANAKA and changed the precision to "editor" since that's the only credit left.
