Can anyone recommend some good manga, ones that are
not too long (around 3-6 volumes). I already read Akira, Deathnote and some Osamu Tezuka stuff but am still looking for more.

Ask in this thread. Don't create a new topic. Also be a bit more specific in what you're looking for. I can name you plenty of series between 3 and 6 volumes, but you won't like them all. Mentioning stuff you've previously read helps, but say more than that.
