One reason I rarely post at this board is because I'm usually posting at my Big O message board, the Paradigm city forums.
www.paradigm-city.com I have something from the fanfiction section minimized right now. The forums there RULE! Look out for me! My name is SHAOBLANE and I'm in the roleplay and the speakeasy, the two most populat threads, so I'm easy to find.  Come in the Speakeasy and get drunk with everyone else!
Anyway, I'm a Big O fan. Does anyone else watch it? Adult Swim on sunday nights for those who haven't seen it and want to see an episode. Here's where I say things about the characters!!! Roger the Negotiator: Playboy wannabe. His rule? If you live in his house, you wear black. Millionaire who spends his money fighting crime and megadeuces. His megadeuce? A sweet looking black one called the 'Big O.' R. Dorothy Wayneright: Android woman. Lives with Roger. Some people suggest there's something between them, but there can't be to much. Yeah, she wears black too. She has a talent for music and even more of a talent for cheesing Roger off in the morning with really really fast piano music. Norman Burg: Rated the best character at the Paradigm-City forums. A one eyed dude who cooks, cleans, and kicks @$$. He rides a sweet looking motorcycle and has a sweet gun hiding somewhere. Plus, he gets to take care of Big O, which is always hiding in the house somewhere...I WILL FIND IT!!! Angel: Just Angel. I dont know her last name cause I'm stupid like that. A blonde babe who'll do anything to get the job done...hitting on Roger once or twice makes it a little more interesting. She's always had some kind of 'thing' with Dorothy...so Dorothy...you say you can't feel emotion?  She's very partial to the color pink. Bright pink. Her bike, her car, and whatever else I forgot to mention...cause I'm stupid like that. We don't know who's side she's on. she trades off, I suppose. Whichever side makes the most money.
Beck Gold: Villian. Will often use poor metallic Dorothy to get to Roger. Magnets, magnets, and magnets. Except in episode 17 he used Roger to get to Dorothy, who had a suitcase full of money and all that good stuff. Beck's kinda...creepy in my opinion. If you watch him enough, you'll understand. In my opinion, episode 18 was rated the best, worst, and strangest episode of Big O all in one night. Plus, many obvious references to Power Rangers. Dan Dastun: Cop with a creepy vain coming out of his head. Yet, one of Roger's cool-like-that friends who likes to drink and be in charge and refer to Big O as 'The black megadeuce.' I don't get Dastun yet...I will eventually. You don't see him very often anymore. Ooh! Ooh! Here's a clip from the latest fanfiction submitted to their hall of masterpieces. "Should I scream 'android abuse' out the window?" "Not in that outfit. Besides which, there aren't any laws concerning proper treatment of androids." "Very well - if you attempt to beat me I shall scream 'rape'. I believe the laws cover that." Roger rubbed his temple in frustration. "My head hurts." "Shall I drive?" "No!" He gripped the wheel with both hands. "My baby! Mine!" Dorothy gave Roger one of her best expressionless-gazes-that-convey-multiple-meanings. "Roger Smith, I believe that you are seriously warped." Man oh man you gotta love Roger on a hangover. So what the hecks my point? Watch Big O or suffer the wrath of Lizard Shaoblane!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha! I like the Big O, I really do. i think it's neat how there's being more episodes broadcast. But, I have to say I'm thankful I dont have the fanboy gene

I'm also a Big O fan.
Love the Bruce Timm influenced artwork. Soundtrack (minus the opening and closing) is great. Interesting story. Waiting for the box set coming out in a few weeks. I just hope they hurry up and get Season 2 on DVD pronto. |

I am a Big-O fan, too.
It's my 3rd currently airing favorite anime.(first is Inuyasha, second is Kenshin) I like the second season more, because it is much more comical than the first. R.Dorothy Wayneright is also my favorite character. |
