Dude, I WAAAAANNNNNTTTT.
Don't care if I'll barely be able to understand it. I need this in my life. I gotta wonder, though. I've never heard anyone call us the Center of the World. Even here, the worst we get is "The greatest best country ever on this planet by god" or whatever the extremists say, but not THE CENTER OF THE WORLD. Was this some saying we had back in the 20's or WWII, and other countries joke about it or something? |

Seems cute and interesting. I'd like to pick it up sometime. I'm interested in what Himaruya has written; he did spend some years studying in the US after all.
The Center of the World thing is probably just a random phrase they use due to the (character) America's stereotypical "USA is everything!" quirk. Though there is an island whose location is referred to as the heart/center of the world within the actual series... |
