"If you can enjoy it, then that's a stroke of luck."
Yes, yes, it is. Because how anyone could enjoy this anime is beyond understanding.

I appreciate that he wants to adapt the source material without making any significant changes to it, but the adaptation so far has been rough. The last couple episodes have felt so rushed and disjointed that it's hard to know what's going on.

How about asking him why he removed all of vol 0 which provides so much backstory and introduces several important characters.

But they did remove quite a lot of "erotic" material, so they did change it anyway. Why make anime adaptation of edgy manga with sex and violence and remove the sex? And violence was quite toned down as well visually, compared with manga.

Now that is disappointing. Hopefully it is just a situation that they actually made those scenes, but decided to edit it out for broadcasting. Then on the physical release it will be unedited.

It's not that kind of situation. There hasn't even been a suggestion of sexual violence (or sex, aside from women wearing suggestive clothes at a brothel in the first episode) in the anime. It was excised as part of adapting the story, not censored for broadcast.

Considering how bad of an adaptation this has been so far, is it even bringing Übel Blatt to screens at this point? Nevermind the ridiculous amount of content from the original manga that has been modified, there are entire chapters and volumes that have been removed to try and "sanitize' the series for broadcast.
I know a lot of anime just end up being a way to advertise the source material but this has been so bad that no one is going to even want to bother checking the original manga at this point, and I'm saying that with full knowledge that the entire manga has long been available in English tankōbons.

Exactly, you need to put your best foot forward if you want to convert customers. But to be fair to them, some customers prefer a specific medium to enjoy their stuff.
