Jesus, I'm glad he pulled through but that's so scary.

Goes without saying what a landmark director he is. FMA, One Piece, Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, several Mamoru Hosoda films... and those are just the major hits next to smaller shows like MushiShi, Barakamon, Blood Blockade Battlefront, The Heike Story, etc... Also did a fair amount of scriptwriting for Bang Zoom with One Punch Man, Megalobox, Odd Taxi, & Mob Psycho 100

To have his sort of reputation in an industry with a somewhat hard to please audience is not easy, and so well deserved in his case. Wishing him the best possible road to recovery.

Oh no, that's horrible news. Sad Mike is an absolute legend in the domestic anime industry. Here's hoping for a full recovery.

Removing a brain tumor is very serious. I'm glad that the surgery was successful.

We in the dub fandom are very lucky to have Mike, he's given us some of the best English dub work in the history of the industry and when his name is attached to directing a show I can be sure it's very high quality. I've met him a lot over the years and he's one of the nicest people. Hoping he recovers quickly.

A brain tumour sounds like a scary thing, I'm happy to hear that it was successfully removed.
