This is the place to report duplicate company names. You have to make sure that they are really different companies. It's not because 2 companies have similar names that they are in fact the same. For example, Bandai Visual and Bandai Entertainment are two different companies.

"RTL 2 Television" (company#2069)
and "RTL2" (company#1206) are the same company/TV station and their official name is "RTL II Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG" as seen here: http://www.rtl2.de/impressum.html |

Tastunoko Pro (#1719, misspelled)
Tatsunoko (#286) Tatsunoko Color Center (#639) Tatsunoko Laboratory (#3052) Tatsunoko Production (#591) #286 has most entries, but according to the official company profile, the full name should be "Tatsunoko Productions". "Tatsunoko Production" and "Tatsunoko Pro." also appear in the title banner, so I'd suggest use #591 as the main entry. |

In this case, I think it is worth noting that the official name of the company is "Animaze.. iNC" and that is the way it is always listed in credits. "Animaze" is a simplified way that most fans refer to it as, but I don't think it's ever actually credited as such. |

I suggested to increase the capacity of information for Companies because of examples like Geneon and Pioneer. In addition to new companies, existing companies change names, merge, or end their business.
I have some different opinions. Avex is a large company, and anime / music production are just parts of their business. It would be odd if we merge all following companies, Sony Sony Computer Entertainment Sony magazines Inc. Sony Music Enterainment (Japan) Inc. Sony Music Entertainment Sony PCL, Inc. Sony Pictures (Japan) Sony Pictures Entertainment Sony Pictures International Sony Pictures Studios Sony Pictures Television International into one "Sony." Some of them are redundant, though. |

Most people say or think Tatsunoko Pro, so that could be used to align the rest, or just Tatsunoko Productions. |
