I hope he makes a full and healthy recovery. I just hope he can go to the Bathroom without being in pain so much.

I wonder when HxH 38 will be available in America, and while we're at it, Real 16.

Hunter Hunter fans must be some of the most patient fans out there.
There's also the Drifters fans, Berserk fans and Bastard!! fans. Possibly more.

I hope Togashi is well and recovering. Speaking of periodicity, wasn't it said before the last hiatus that the manga would no longer follow a weekly schedule from then on? I wouldn't be surprised if the manga enter on hiatus again after Chapter 410, but I wouldn't have minded a new chapter every two, three weeks, or even a month. I mean, knowing that there are a couple of chapters ready after 410, a non-weekly serialization would be beneficial both for Togashi and for the readers, who would know that the manga would be publishing steadily for quite a while before the imminent announcement of an indefinite hiatus.

I hope he gets better but it's a shame one of the best subplots in the entire manga might not be properly told until the the end of the next hiatus

Yeah but D.Gray-man isn’t on hiatus right now. The chapters are as inconsistent as can be and the people working on the translating and all that other stuff that needs to happen but there has been a fair amount of chapters that released this year. I do read D.Gray-man and I agree with you.

Togashi had finished manuscripts until chapter 430 during the first Trump administration, so we have been reading an untouched plot from the end of the last decade during this return and will do so well into 2025. What remained undone back then was the character linework (100% done by Togashi, same as with Oda), the inking, the instructions for the backgrounds and so on. It´s why we get updates on chapters 420+ and for chapters about to be published. This makes HxH a pretty unique case. Miura only had one single chapter outlined past the one he worked on when he died. The one where Griffith cried. Togashi will likely finish the succession arc plot ages before its final chapter is published and it clearly isn´t wrapping up any time soon.
Nana has been on hiatus since 2009 and Aqua Knight since 2000 but it won´t be coming back no matter what Yukito Kishiro said back then. Not that anyone is asking for it. His Battle Angel Alita went tough Vol 2, 3 and soon 4 in the meantime. And Hellsing: The Dawn? Forget about it. Work ethics comparable to Joe Madureira but Kota Hirano at least bothers to draw his manga.

Since we are talking about other delayed authors, Rei Hiroe has even admitted Black Lagoon has been on an...irregular schedule to say the least. To be fair, he has suffered from Depression and anxiety hard.
