Any word on if the English dub in the listing is the same one as on Netflix, or will it be a brand new dub from Sentai, a la what happened with Baki & Vinland Saga?
Regardless, I'm just happy to see that the Bastard!! anime reboot is getting a physical release. I absolutely love this series, but I don't use Netflix, so I'm ecstatic that I'll be able to finally watch this anime. Since, by this point, it's obvious that the manga will never be given a second chance in English, I'll take whatever I can get for more Bastard!! over here.

While Bastard!! by itself doesn't interest me, there are several streaming titles on Netflix and other platforms I would love to see get physical releases in the future. Might be an area where Sentai could carve out a niche for itself in addition to the Hidive titles.

Vinland Saga wasn't a new dub, it came out the exact same time as the Netflix dub.
As to your question. I think they might include the Netflix dub for this title. Now that they are owned by AMC, I think they have the funds to pay the high prices.

Sentai did have to redub Kakegurui, don't forget that.

And this was what saved Anime Limited's release from being subtitled-only in the UK because they explained why that release took so long citing Netflix as the reason.

Really enjoyed Bastard!! And I’ll happily pick up this Blu-ray. Admittedly while I don’t usually prefer this, Bastard!! Is one of the few Netflix dubs I’d be okay seeing Sentai redub. The dub wasn’t bad so if they include it that’s fine, but I didn’t fall so in love with that I need that one specifically, I do think there was room for improvement and a Sentai dub could do that. Again, in any other situation I’d prefer the dub that already exists, but a Sentai dub would not be unwelcomed here lol

I loved the first season, but lost interest during the first few episodes of season 2.
Glad to see it's getting a physical release though.

Yes! I loved this show with all it's references to the metal music scene. I'll definitely get this.

I hope I can get a copy and a season three (and four and five, whatever it takes to finally finish the story).

They better do their own dub, Netflex dub is awful. Kai Harn in particular sounded bad.
