Not unexpected. Hopefully, Aka ends this one properly(I don't have my hopes up much).

I guess I have to eat my own words (with me saying that we might have another year or more possibly), but we really seemed to be in the endgame lately, and the latest chapter kind of confirmed that. Also it feels like that Aka wants to move on.

Pretty crazy how fast time goes by when the anime first launched and it was everywhere especially with IDOL. Though it’s died down and Season 2 still kept that top notch quality (though the OP and Ending theme was IDOL or Mephisto, they were fire). Glad we’re getting a season 3 and hopefully the manga wraps up nicely whether it a tragic somber whimper or an explosive loud bang.
The true Oshi no Ko is the fans that are still battling in the shipping wars while dark stuff is happening to characters in the story. |

Now I wonder if they will go with longer season (like 17-20 or 10+10 episodes) and a movie to finish it or with just a 2-cour season. There is no way in hell thay want to left the anime unfinished concidering they already adapted 80 chapters out of 166 and S3 is on the horizon.

Sounds about right with here the manga is at, I'm just curious if the anime will adapt everything considering how far they've already come.

For some reason I was expecting some sort of epilogue arc to mirror the prologue arc, but even without it, 4 chapters should be enough to wrap up the story. Whether or not it's satisfying will depend on the next chapter, since there's a few distinct possibilities for how it could go.

It's sad to see this series go but I lost all will to read the story spoiler[once they started with the incest insinuations.]
Now with what's currently going on in the manga I hope the ending will not disappoint, though I'm not sure about that. |
