Older Sailor Moon fans may remember jokes about Molly (Naru) being the official energy source for the Negaverse,
You mean the Dark Kingdom?

I do; all of the jokes I remember were based on the bad old dub, where it was Molly and the Negaverse, rather than the more correct Naru and the Dark Kingdom. Just showing my age, I guess. Embarassed Laughing

Absolutely Sublime review, I think the animation also deserved an A-. Back then it was peak animation for Toei, absolutely great.

Like I said before, this is one fantastic finale. The final battle was a spectacle, but what I loved was the conclusion: it's not over. It will never be over. Both Haruka and Close now understand that hope and despair are two sides of the same whole. And it is because of that understanding that they both just stop fighting. Close walks away (well, flies), but he's not resentful at all. The two grew to understand and respect each other, even using the other's catch-phrase at the end ("Despair will never disappear" and "with strength, elegance and beauty"). 10/10.

This was my first Pretty Cure series and is my favourite to this day, with KiraKira Pretty Cure A La Mode as strong second place Smile

Thank you for review!

I would agree that Go Princess is the best season available in English so far. There are 3 seasons I personally like more, but they aren't available yet. They are Doki Doki (Glitter Force Doki Doki doesn't count since that cuts out about 1/3rd of the anime and the dub is very loose), Hugtto, and Star Twinkle, with Star Twinkle being my personal favorite. I hope the other seasons get released too. Watching Otona without Yes 5 is a terrible idea, Fresh and Heartcatch are very foundational seasons, and both Suite and Smile have their strong points. Smile technically has Glitter Force, but when the 90s era-esque dub is the only option, it might as well not be one. Not a fan of Happiness Charge at all, but it's definitely unique and might as well also be available if the other 20 seasons end up being so.

Someone liking Doki Doki BETTER than Go Princess? Wow. I would love to hear your full take and no, its not because I think that's wrong somehow. But I would love to hear you out.
