Hi, I tried to send a news tip to the newsroom email address from the contact page, but according to my email provider my email address is being actively blocked. It's strange that I've been blocked because I've never sent an email to the newsroom before. Maybe it's just that my email address is old. So what should I do now?

I know the website says do not post news tips in the forms and to email it to the newsroom instead, but seeing as I can't email the newsroom, I'll post the tip here just in case.
I don't follow Gosu, but I did stumble across some news regarding it that ANN seems to have missed. It seems that Studio Mir is coproducing the Gosu anime adaptation alongside Toei Animation. Studio Mir's official Twitter account shared an article from a Korean website confirming this. I looked into this and it appears that both of your e-mails (from 2 addresses) made it through. Can you share the exact error from your e-mail provider? -t |

Strange. So what would happen is a day or two after I sent the email I would receive this message. “Your message wasn't delivered. Despite repeated attempts to deliver your message, the recipient's email system refused to accept a connection from your email system.” It also includes this to say to email administrators “No connection could be made because the target computer actively refused it. This usually results from trying to connect to a service that is inactive on the remote host - that is, one with no server application running. For more information and tips to fix this issue see this article: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=389361” it’s all very strange then I’m getting these messages even though you receiving my emails, but it’s good to hear that my emails got through. |
