Are they in a different time zone, 'cus today's Thursday. Anyway, just glad legal wrangling didn't stop it from getting a legal release. Plus, I was sure there'd be a bidding war btw CR, Netflix, and Disney+, at least.

Thank goodness. If they had pulled another Super, I would’ve been livid.

With Netflix and Disney betting higher on anime last few seasons, I already thought this was either being on one of those above or simulcasting in more than 1 place, anyway good to see it'll be released in a platform that serves in several countries and not only in USA and Canada.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony threw extra money at Crunchyroll to lock this down before the inevitable loan out to Hulu.

I wonder what this means for the dub, not to mention a Toonami block that despite the fun-sized characters, will want to air this.

The thing is that, other than GT, adventures with young Goku are more popular in Asia than the U.S.,which goes for the brawling older Goku. So I hope Sony didn't bid more, expecting a higher subscription rate than usual, as was the case for Super. Plus, the last movie did better in the U.S. than Japan, so I hope the franchise still has legs in the latter country.

Let's speculate on the English dub cast. The rumor is that Stephanie Nadolny is returning to be little Goku, but I wonder who'll be playing the others. I hope they can find Laurie Steele to play little Krillin.

If I remember right, they brought back Laurie Steele for young Krillin's flashback cameo in Super, so I would imagine getting her for Daima wouldn't be too difficult.

Also totally hoping the rumors of Nadolny coming back are true.

I'm more interested who they're going to get for the young versions of the characters. A lot of them haven't been depicted as children before.

Chris Sabat voiced Baby Piccolo in Dragonball while the Japanese had Hiromi Tsuru. I wonder what both dubs will do for him now.

I hope Disney+ gets it in some other regions.

In what world would crunchyroll not get Dragonball....? LOL

Also this just seems like Dragonball GT with Trunks and Pan replaced with these new characters.

Lol, unfortunately the same world where Dragon Ball Super didn’t get a simulcast until over a year after the first episode aired in Japan. I still remember Toei reps at Anime Expo that year that looked at me with a straight face and told me there were no plans to release Super in US despite them visiting the US to promote it. They clearly knew the fansubbers were gonna have a field day!

I was hoping it would be on Crunchyroll so happy to see that confirmed!

Wonder how soon before the dub comes out.
