Capcom characters in Fatal fury. I wonder if 6 Ryu would fit. Then again I remember Akuma being the crossover machine in general

Very cool interview. I hope they decide to release a Capcom vs. SNK collection, or at least make a 3rd entry for modern consoles. I'd be good with either.

I wonder if a third entry would be possible after how Namco cancelled Tekken x Street Fighter. It seems the companies were too obsessed with generating more content for themselves which led to Namco work into Tekken 7 instead. SNK is also busy with three different projects, while Capcom is now busy with SF6.
Capcom made Marvel vs Capcom Infinite but it seems it wasn't that well received especially if you see Max Dood's current work involving how to improve the game.

MvC3 was pretty good, but I felt it was watered down in terms of mechanics (compared to 2, anyway). I haven't played Infinite, though I heard it was even more watered down than 3. I also felt the art took a dip and didn't like that they omitted some fan-favorite characters in lieu of trying do MCU tie-ins and such.
Would love for a new MvC with most of the mechanics of 2 (and maybe the infinity gems from Marvel Super Heroes), a mix of old and new rosters, but with today's graphics. Ah, one can hope.

I hear there are questionable changes in this collection, much like the previous fighter collection. The last one had alot of censorship, but seems this one has made changes to gameplay for the sake of "balance" but not in a meaningful way. A shame.

A MvC seems like a pipedream. At least a good one. Unless Disney/Marvel is fine with it having nothing to do with the MCU synergy like Infinite did.

You're going to have to be a bit more specific, otherwise it kind of feels like nitpicking over nothing.

I'm so glad to finally be seeing Capcom vs SNK 2 in the next Capcom Fighting Collection next year.
Probably my favorite game they've made, after X-Men vs Street Fighter.
//Yes, I know that MvsC 2 is objectively better, but XvsSF has a bunch of personal nostalgia reasons to elevate it for me.
