Can't wait till they make a manga based on the stage play based on the manga about a stage play.

Someone on the crew for this play writes an autobiographical manga about their experiences making it, then that manga gets a stage play based on it.

EDIT: Akasaka should write a scene in an Oshi no Ko chapter with an offhand mention of a Tokyo Blade arc where Blade and Tsurugi have to act in a stage play for plot reasons.

Yo Dawg, etc.

It looks like this is being held in a theater with a rather plain stage. I guess that isn't a surprise.

I've never really had an interest in Oshi no Ko, but I love Nao and Kitamu so if this gets a stream then I'll watch it for them. Plus Wada is doing the music! I'm always happy to hear his work.

Aqua is not playing Blade in the stage play, Taiki does (unlesws they changed the plot for thios adaptation). Aqua plays Toki (The Dragon for antagonists faction).

I love how meta this franchise has become in chronicling different aspects of the entertainment industry and the entertainment industry in turn adapting it.

Rio Komiya as Aqua (Blade in Tokyo Blade)

Not sure if this is just a detail change in the stage adaptation, but if not Aqua plays Touki in Tokyo Blade, Blade is played by Himekawa.

Oshi no Ko isn’t the first to do this; Uta no Prince-sama and now Ensemble Stars! have been doing plays where the actors portray a fictional idol who is also portraying a character.
