Bleach's downfall honestly started with the Arrancar Arc it was such a huge step down from the arc before which was Bleach's peak and ever arc after kept that downward slide going. In fact I'd go so far as to say the anime filler arcs are more enjoyable and coherent than most of the main arcs after Rukia's rescue.

Parasyte has my favorite ending, Mars is right behind it but 21th Century Boys ending on a bowling joke has to be noted. One of the most Lynchian endings I have ever seen. Closure is for suckers. Be memorable instead. How can one forget that? Hey Kyoko! It's God, let's go bowling.

Naoki Urasawa knows how to write an ending, minus Happy just shitting the bed in the final stretch.

A 90s Jump manga about a samurai also finishes quite well. Too bad that a non-canon OVA and a deeply misguided official sequel couldn´t leave well enough alone. Real life also got in the way... There is something to be said about walking away on top. Please Save My Earth on the other hand managed to have a satisfying ending and two sequels that don´t derail the finished plot. The opposite of Lone Wolf and Cub. Do people even know that one of the most well-known comics of all time goes on and on and on after its iconic ending despite losing its titular premise? Obscurity and Cub Part 1 & 2.

I was in the crowd that saw the ending of Land of the Lustrous

I'm happy enough with where it ended, but the immense wait between chapters was difficult... and even worked into the story, in a way, given where it went.

Yes, I also read Hunter X Hunter and Berserk, which have some notorious hiatuses, though here we're talking specifically the ending.

Oh, and I noticed that the Yu Yu Hakusho screencaps have searchable / selectable text? How was that done?

My favorite and ruined ending has to be Kenshin for all the right and wrong reasons. In the Jinchu arc, Kenshin faces the very face of his biggest crime ever committed not as the Battosai but as a doctor (and farmer in the OVA) when living with Tomoe. While he found peace in his decision to beat his past as well as a successor in the form of Yahiko...

the Hokkaido arc downright reverses it by having Kenshin goes back to the battlefield with Yahiko's passing of the torch being reversed as if the manga became an Avengers story starring the Jupongatana as good guys. The fact that even the character designs from the endings were changed and Watsuki's state..... you know.

I can't tell if Seisohen would have been a better canon ending despite its depressing style

My favorite endings.

That Isekai that plays like a biography, it ends with the mc dying in a very satisfying way, while leaving the main ( battle) conflict unresolved; to be fair it hinted for several volumes that the conflict would be left unresolved as "sequel" material.

Then there is that shoujo series about the innocent main character, that reveal she was a huge manipulator before closing on the very dramatic ending and it still has the balls to give us a long epilogue showing us the consequences forme very me to give us closure.

Ahh more reviewers just making Boruto the punching bag when Two Blue Vortex has been fantastic and the most engaging thing in the Naruto franchise in a long time. The original is great and Boruto part one had some rough points, but the mystery in the recent chapters has been portrayed well and each cliffhanger is annoyingly well done.

Except for Detective Conan. That little twerp will outlive us all.

The manga will one day end, but I fully expect the Conan anime to keep running as long as any sort of anime industry exists. They'll adapt the final chapter someday, and then starting the following week they'll just keep making anime-original cases for him to solve every week, forever. It's too huge a franchise for them to give up on it, especially since (unlike other super-long runners like One Piece) Conan has an episodic format that allows it to keep going endlessly.

About the endings the article mentioned that I read.
Boku no Hero - Hilarious, I liked Deku's conversation with the kid but the implication that he lost contact with Class A because they were too busy being successful heroes and he was left behind goes against the penultimate chapter claiming that heroes would have free time to spare now that society learnt to not depend on them, shit is wack.

Naruto - A Final Fantasy ending, for as much bullshit the 4th Ninja War put us through the final chapter is near perfect. Boruto being a little shit like his dad without all the trauma is a somewhat nice sign that life did got better for ninja.

Bleach - Yeah, the entire final arc was a mess but I don't hate the final chapter. Shipping wars aside (and Shinigami/Soul afterlife births too), seeing Ichika and Kazui get their own Death&Strawberry did get me a nice feeling of closure to Ichigo's and Rukia's fated first meeting.

Dungeon Meshi - Great ending and excellent final arc, its only sin it's that it leaves you wanting more and curious about the life's of the party after it. I know that the Japanese love to keep these things up to imagination but I still want to know if Chilchuck fixed things with his wife or if Laios managed to marry someone lmao.

Hiatus x Hiatus - It ended at the World Tree to me. Reading anything after it, it's a waste of time if you cared about Gon.

That didn't happen.

Deku says they have had problems sycking their freedays so they cannot hang out as much as before, this implication doesn't exist.

Read again if they had more free time because society learnt to not depend on them for every little issue they could easily keep contact, but they didn't denying the penultimate chapter last line.
The simple fact that it "didn't line up" is bullshit too, when they aren't working 996 and the world isn't in crisis either.

Everyone is going to pick apart endings. It’s the nature of the beast. I also kind of wonder if Academia would have been better received if it had Deku building the armor himself, or at least with Mei’s help, than getting it as a gift.

That could be a Western thing vs Eastern thing though, the idea that it means less if not created ourselves, hence my comparing it to Mullet Tony Stark.

And yes, Detective Conan will outlive us all. Might be why it never took off here.

Just because the world isn't in crisis doesn't mean is free of troubles, you know.

This may shock you but even regular people working normal 9-5 jobs also have trouble making time to meet up with all the people they went to high school with.

I didn't mention it but Saint Seiya sure feels rushed. Hades lasted only one chapter. Even Poseidon lasted more in the fight if we count his Julian Solo persona. It feels rushed how Hades easily destroys the God Cloths but without using even a technique and then Athena fights with her own Cloth for the first time until Seiya rushes to shield her resulting in his death. Then Athena kills Hades and the end.

I don't know what rumors are truth. Was Kurumada tired of drawing armors? Was the popularity of the manga going so down that the final chapter wasn't even published in the Shonen Jump? The weirdest thing is that Kurumada never touched Seiya again until Toei decided to give Seiya their own sequels (plus a cd drama). However, then Kurumda kinda reacted like a tsundere to and retconned the Tenkaihen movie Toei worked into to create Next Dimension. Next Dimension also appeared to reference the other sequel Omega but change Ryuho's name to Shoryu.

Ironically, Episode G Assassin tried giving Seiya's character better closure by providing his own reasons to stay by Saori's side and become the Sagittarius Saint who even makes a title drops when saving people from a Titan.

Sorry, no idea of how to answer this, you simply saw a windmill, thought it was a gigant and are asking me to fight with it.

Please tell me were in the final chapter is said they have 0 contact, I already saw like 10 times this conversation and everybody who claimed this had 0 evidence and are borderline illiterate, thus I have no patience for it.

Tell me the page or don't answer me because I will ignore anything else you tell me.

This was a long time ago, but the legend goes like this:

Apparently, the toys' selling numbers began to decline and Toei forced the cancelation.

Don't quote me on that.
