danm they are hopeing this is gonna be huge for this to get the Chainsaw Man treatment with new ED songs for each episode.

In the manga version, Kohei learned Russian from watching old Russian movies and TV shows with his grandpa.
The promo says he learned it from playing with a Russian girl when he was younger. Which is true to the LN? And why do I suspect the girl he played with as a child is going to be connected. |

The light novel says with his grand father watching movies in Russian.
This does not preclude the presence of a childhood friend in some capacity. |

As far as I understood the novel and didn't miss it, it alludes he could talk to the girl because he already knew Russian from watching movies at his grandfather's place. So if the promo says that it's wrong. |
