The ending of 5 toubun is very controversial so I wonder if this anime original ( TV / OVA / Film ? ) will follow the canonical wife Yotsuba or have a polygamy route, anyway more of this franchise is always a good thing, hopefully this will keep the Negi's hype going so we can get a sequel to the current Loser Ranger anime ( i really want to see Green squadron arc in anime, Kanon Hisui is by far my favorite character from Haruba Negi )

There was a bonus manga chapter where all the other sisters reveal they're following the newly weds on their honeymoon so I'm assuming the anime will show the hijinks that result from that. Though I imagine it will just be the extra baggage constantly getting in the way of the couple which will get old fast.

I lost interest in the series after I found out the girl with the least development won.
I didn't even bother watching the movie.

Can't say I understand the mindset of dropping a series because you heard that girl you liked least won without bothering to at least learn the why but it is what it is
Anyway best girl won as she should
While I'm happy we're getting more, I'm not really sure what to expect. I just hope the winner remains respected by the other girls

The girl who won was the first one who was nice to him and accepting so it makes sense to me.

Seems like some of y'all need to read that 30-page essay that detailed all the foreshadowing and symbolism on why a certain quintuplet won lol.
That aside, I'm looking forward to seeing this. I love the series, so anything new I will gladly gobble up.

I can never say no to more Quintuplets though an anime entry showing the sisters all hijacking Futaro and Yotsuba's honeymoon was not what I was expecting.
I'm guessing it'll be an OVA or another movie?

I am still puzzled why people still don't get that the winning girl was foreshadowed from almost the very beginning.
She was the first to accept him. She was the first to make his heart skip a beat. She's a know terrible liar, so her first confession couldn't have been "just a joke" because she's have been terrible at it.
How were people surprised? She was also best girl.

I might be mis-remembering but I feel like the main issue is that she came off more passive compared to her other sisters (which was a deliberate character flaw) so people ended up finding the girls who put more effort into being with Futaro more compelling. I think in the aftermath they even acknowledged that to a degree.

I have no skin in this game but it seems pretty misleading to write a series where the main hook is the main character potentially picking one love interest out of multiple but you already telegraph who they’re picking from the outset.

Apparently not telegraphing it hard enough. The rule "first girl wins" is such a cliche that actually using it, even if a little changed (she was not the first girl he met, but the first girl to accept and confess) is surprising.

Some things will truly never die. In some ways not surprised that they are going to keep milking this thing so long as the money keeps rolling in.
Although honestly it's a bit sad. If they want a honeymoon series focusing on the main couple then go nuts. But the fact that they are having these girls tag along on their sister's honeymoon is just sad. Telegraphing that they don't think the main couple have enough draw on their own. Have the other girls move on with their lives.
What's next? The sequel about them all raising the first born of the main couple together? Actually never mind...that'll probably be what they make after this one!

I'm going to stay out of the "best girl won" thing because honestly it sounds like some people were brainwashed by how they keep repeating it like a mantra.
But that's not slightly changing the cliche...that's simply not using the cliche at all. She wasn't the first girl. By the logic used here any girl could have still fulfilled the "first girl wins" cliche by being the first girl to hand him a sandwich in the show

Everyone out here having a "Best Girl" war & I'm just here puzzled by the apparent existence of a card game made for this show . Are they gonna hold local tourneys & have the respective quintuplet deck mains go at each other?
But since I'm here already, I might as well give my 2 cents of the whole matter. Been a while since I've seen anything of this series but I'm generally OK with who won. I'm not totally on-board but I can accept the outcome. In contrast to others here, I actually thought the 3 girls who were making the most moves on the MC had the least chance of actually winning as their affection seemed so one-sided. They were hardly giving the MC any say on the matter & just throwing themselves at him without giving him anytime to speak. So by process of elimination, the only 2 likely winners would come down to the girl who actually won & the main poster girl (U know who I'm talking about).
All that aside, they are really milking the shit out of this series huh? I'm also kinda iffy on this whole honeymoon project. I just don't think it's necessary when everything is already set & done. There really isn't anything more to explore here. On an unrelated note, I just wanna say that We Never Learn was the much better romcom & I'm sad that S2 botched the adaptation so hard that we are most likely never gonna get another season adapting all the routes.
