fudge yeah! He's (kinda) back?! In the business.
I still think and hope he comes back. It's sad that he's grown exhausted and scared of fans hating on the ending. I didn't like it either, but otherwise, it's nearly perfect and incredible as a whole regardless. Truly a legendary story. |

He really should have just ignored the fanbase and stayed true to his original plans. His pandering to fans (especially Eren X Mikasa shippers) has objectively made the story worse by introducing a bunch of plot holes and retcons to reinforce a theme that was never prominent in Attack on Titan to begin with. It was such an unhealthy experience for Isayama that he ended up writing Eren, Yimir, and Mikasa into tropes/archetypes that he publicly stated he despised in interviews from past years. It makes me so mad because everything else leading up to the final parts were 10/10 masterpieces. Hoping he can pull a Togashi and make a new work that can rival if not surpass his prior hit, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't amount to anything either. |

Wait, does this mean Kaji supports AI voices? What the hell?

Well, I guess they have a really good working relationship coming off the anime!

I read it as he wants his voice to be similarly utilized like Saki Fujita's voice for Hatsune Miku in Vocaloid. |

I knew about him changing things, including the ending, but not really about the romance. Damn. I guess no wonder it's so nonexistent and sudden with Eren seemingly always ignoring her feelings. Worse is how she ends up with that douche later even though Wren is always in her heart. Yeah, I hate that ending. |

Its even worse when you realize the whole spoiler[Yimir loves King Fritz thing, and time travel shanigans were forced in there solely to parallel Eren X Mikasa.] These two links pretty much sum up all the issues I had with the overall finale. https://www.reddit.com/r/titanfolk/comments/17pwgwo/ymir_loving_fritz_was_isayamas_worst_writing/ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SlOd8RXeOo4&pp=ygUfQXR0YWNrIG9uIFRpdGFuIGVuZGluZyBiYWQgZGVlcA%3D%3D |

Wow, people still complain about the ending even when it's completely off-topic. It's almost respectable how dedicated some of you are. By the way, all that stuff about Isayama changing the story is pure conspiracy copium, there are no proofs at all; if anything, in many interviews he said that the important points were all planned.
About the actual topic, glad he is doing something. I really hope he makes another manga one day, it's such a waste for someone that talented to retire at 35. |

We're discussing Isayama and his work. I don't see how that's off topic. Also dismissing the criticisms as "conspiracy" theories is such a weird stance to take. I mean the drop in quality and bizzare writing choices that outright contradict prior events in the story as well as Isayama's own words says it all. Wow you'd have to tune out a lot to think the progression was at all natural. |

I'm not interested in discussing the ending here and now, there have been other times for that, but no I don't think there's anything that contradicts prior events, and I'm not the only one. I'm also not saying that criticisms are conspiracy theories, you have all the rights to criticize it as you want, but if you say stuff like "Isayama changed it because of blah blah" then that is conspiracy unless you give me proof. What's this "own word" you're talking about? In the interviews I've read he said that everything concerning the main trio was planned from the beginning. Honestly the only shippers acting as obnoxious as you're suggesting are the EreHisu maniacs. Damn, that disgraceful atrocity called AoT no Requiem came back to my mind now, I hate this. |

It is his voice, made with his consent for people to use. How on earth you could have possibly gotten what you seem to have gotten from that is beyond me. |
