Can give credit where it's due, the Replica LN actually sounds like something a bit different from the usual. A rare time I can't rattle off a bunch of similar stories already out. I'm half-wondering if it's actually supernatural or if the twist is it's all just in her head.

The artist is Riichu and Gekidan Inu Curry is the creature designer. |

The riichu part is correct - that was a typo on our part and has been fixed. However, the Character Design credit is what's listed in Yen Press' press release (yes I realize the Japanese cover image Yen Press provided us says Creature Designer in Japanese). I'll reach out to Yen Press and see if this was a mistake on their part, and I'll leave it as Character Designer for now until I get a response from them. Thanks for pointing this all out. |

It is at least obvious in the book, when you contrast the Riichu-style characters with eldtritch abominations straight out of Madoka.

The The Three-Body webcomic is nothing great but better than the CG show. I get why the Chine live-action show is the mess it is but the lack of quality in the other non-Netflix versions is a bit baffling.
The mediocre Detroit manga is just 2 volumes long, is by non-name creators and the game is too old to have value as an IP. Weird decision here. |
