Well, stiff human CG aside, the character designs are nice, the cars look cool, SCANDAl/Nana Mizuki are doing the themes...and Toru Furuya is the narrator.
Can't complain about that.

There's that much going for it.
The fact we got Studio A-Cat, a company known for their blegh looking titles like LBX Girls and the CGI in Transformers: Energon, as the animators for this, makes me wish we had Polygon, Sanzigen, Shirogumi or someone else animating instead. Because this looks pretty cheap for a series funded by King Records. Especially for a racing series like this, the cars just feel like they're gliding on flat textured planes. Even CG vehicles in 2D titles are slowly showing better physics than this, and they still have a bit of a ways to go.

Yes, LBX Girls had so-so animation, but was still a fun watch.
What really bugs me is when 3DGC cars and motorcycles turn about their midpoints rather than the rear axle, which in real life would mean they were about to spin out (cars) or high-side crash (motorcycles).
