To be fair, I don't think many people uses Hidive nowadays due to its limited library and availability, while Crunchyroll is a streaming giant with an almost worldwide reach. Of course there are going to be a lot more people who gets pissy about that.

Because in this case it was an issue with AMC and all their streaming platforms and not with Sentai.

The "submit claim" page just says "If you received a personalized notice in the mail or via email with a Notice ID and Confirmation Code, please enter the codes you were provided below."
And, uh, I don't see anything like that in my inbox?

I haven't got mine yet, and I subscribed to Shudder during that time period too. I was hoping for $8 personally, but we'll see. Edit: Well I should have read my email before I posted. Seems like you also get a 1 week subscription to AMC+ as well.

If you got the "Legal Notice of Class Action Settlement" email, then it's the first two lines of the body. If you haven't received an email, then you weren't identified as a party to the class or they haven't sent out all the emails yet.

I have yet to get it either.. but it will come sooner or later... Getting these emails out does take time.. Example.. The Facebook Lawsuit... It was not but 2-3 days later after the article that I got my email... some may get it before others... just keep a eye on your inbox and your Junk folder as it can possibly fall in there as well.

Not likely since the award also covers legal fees which can be anything from a quarter to a third of the amount. Then you figure this is being split between far more popular streaming platforms, it seems unlikely there'll be much of a payout.

I think the class action lawsuit only works in the US… not 100% for sure.. but again… getting these emails sent out takes take.. it might come into your inbox here in the next day for a few weeks.. it really depends and random.. as long as you put in your claim before the deadline then that is all that counts.
