Huh, I had no idea Kajiura was half of See-Saw. I mostly associate them with .hack. "Obsession" from SIGN is an all-time banger.

Wait! This kinda implies TM and Komuro's song Will be an insert song kinda like how Kira often had in Seed and Destiny. Potential nostalgia power

See-Saw is how she became famous, really. Her soundtracks came much later in her career. Of course now she's mostly known for the soundtracks and collabing with tons of amazing vocalists. Bandai really GOATed for requesting this. They basically told Kajiura that See-Saw was needed for this film to be complete. |

What? The first anime soundtrack she composed was for the Kimagure Orange Road movie, in 1996! Not to mention that she didn't only work on the hack sign theme song as seesaw, she composed the entire soundtrack for the anime as well. I have no idea where this notion that she only started working on soundtracks "much later in her career" came from, but it's just plain wrong. |

I hope it's the original dub cast, but I doubt it. Hated the new one. |

Kougeru is not exactly wrong. I believe they're trying to say Kajiura's signature work in anime soundtracks which made her so famous only came after her collab in See-Saw. And apparently Kajiura indeed had been collaborating with Ishikawa since the early 90s. See-Saw's first album came out in 1993. But yeah, 2002 when Gundam SEED and .hack//sign came out was when their popularity blew up. |

The new song will be called 去り際のロマンティクス, according to auto translate means " Romantics on the verge of leaving"
Are they basically telling us that Kira will die leaving Lacus behind ?? I would have preferred they did not produce this movie if it was to kill him... |

It's hard to say considering interviews are nearly impossible to find. We still know nothing about the actual premise. But on the other hand killing Kira should be taken carefully. I mean Amuro and Char's deaths from Counterattack were so anticlimactic that Tomino himself expressed doubts about it and a year later he wrote another novel that focused more on Amuro's personal life rather than just his rivalry with Char. |

I found these interviews about the singers and Fukuda on the song. https://www.gundam.info/news/video-music/01_13273.html Did Tomino changed Amuro's ending ? Or he is still dead ? ^^ |

No. The novel confirmed his death but gave him a better closure with his family rather than ddying while talking with Char about Lalah. Tomino wanted Amuro to become a family man but Sunrise didn't let him

Oh ok I hope he got a proper closure with Sayla. Well on my end, I hated the fact he died. |

Fitting to close out the SEED franchise...and that title is very SEED.

I agree with you both. I don't think that would be a good direction to go with. A death of a character needs to be prepped and delivered with a lot of planning - and essentially that would be what this movie would be about then. I have a hard time seeing that ending well as I'm looking at all of these new characters they are introducing and knowing we'll be seeing all of the old SEED characters return as well. Too much unless this movie is like 4 hours long. I actually worry about the movie not knowing where to go - but the writer certainly had a vision according to all I've read so I'll wait and see. I didn't like where we went with Destiny - disjointed story that clearly wanted to go one direction at the start going completely opposite towards the end. The song brings it all back to me though. I truly love the Gundam franchise and I confess I really liked SEED back when I first watched it. The music was always great. |
