Takehito Koyasu as Peacemaker...now that's interesting.
Bishounen Clayface sort of feels like a cheat, but also makes plenty of sense - I don't doubt he's done something like it already at some point in his long history (I suppose it sort-of-kind-of recalls the original 1940 Clayface). Plus it seems from the trailer we'll be seeing him in his traditional form to some extent anyway.
If the whole show looks as good as the trailer does, that'll be impressive.

Jesus Christ, how many anime roles in this world will Takehito Koyasu get?

Interested in watching this for anime Harley Quinn, King Shark, and especially Clayface.
Curious who will voice the DC characters in the English dub.

Takehito Koyasu once again playing another isekai villain... oh wait.

Well, there was Uncle in Another World, where he played the titular character... but considering most of this world treated him as a bad guy, it also counts.

This feels like it's made to entice a crowd that would otherwise be uninterested in DC's upcoming animated offerings, being Harley's own cartoon (which is suffering a major case of Moonlighting syndrome) or next year's animated slate of DTV films which is nearly entirely supposed to be adaptations of classics from the 80s, a Crisis on Infinite Earths adaptation and a Watchmen adaptation that's supposed to be more faithful than Snyder's movie.
I like the designs.

No offense to Yuichiro Umehara, he's a great Va, however it feels miscast as joker. He has a softer voice, instead someone like Yoshitsugu Matsuoka would fit better or even Koyasu Takehito.

I'm just glad Anna Nagase is getting more lead roles. She was good in Summertime Render.

This is utterly bonkers and as much as reading the title still gives me a stroke, I kind of respect it. However I feel like it's a waste to set this in exactly the same trite blueprint of a medieval-fantasy world that every single throw-away isekai uses. A premise like this deserves something more crazy and creative.

Squad roster is kind of basic (surprised they used black Deadshot instead of Bloodsport) but it looks fun and the animation and vibe seem pretty good.
Clayface looks like Muzan. Or like the actual Jun Fukuyama.

I thought Koyasu was originally announced as Joker, so I'm surprised they cast Umehara. Maybe they thought it would be too obvious because of the Roswaal connection.
Although it doesn't seem like Joker is in it much beyond the intro unless he manages to end up in the Isekai world.

I dunno, it’s kinda giving off GATE vibes, sans the ultra nationalism

The 30s dandy version of what has to be the Basil Karlo version of Clayface is kinda cool. Neither the usual goo monster nor the gayes theater actor in all of the fiction that Harley flanderised to the point of the joke no longer working.
I agree that this anime is made as a clear alternative to the 1.5-decade-long direct-to-DVD line but it did all of this before. An anime studio, the 17+ rating, the Post-New Suicide Squad team as leads. Will it live up to the 2 SS animated films? I don´t see it so far.

I agree, I love his work but I could not for the life of me imagine a voice that deep coming out of the Joker.

Anna Nagase was great as Ushio in Summertime Render. I'm glad to see her get more roles.
I'm loving how she sounds as Harley.

So if they fail the mission and Bomb-kun takes them out, they'll just get isekaied permanently then...
