Looks like they ate some food.
The song reminds me of the Charlie Brown Christmas special.

The fact that more than zero people found something to complain about these ads truly shows the sad state of Western culture. I just wish all ads were this cute.

So a traditional family, young gay/straight couples, and childhood friends? Guess McDonalds was just trying to appeal to a variety of people like with all their marketing campaigns. Why weird tradcaths thought McDondalds was trying to piss off the "woke" never made sense to me but it was kinda hilarious.

I thought all the ads were really cute. I wish we got more ads like these ones.

The same thing happened with the Bayonetta anniversary art that got posted last week where people got upset at seeing Bayonetta having a happy family and PlatinumGames ended up getting death threats over it. I don't really get it myself. Maybe people have bad experiences with families or feel lonely and don't like being reminded of this kind of stuff?

I really think we will all be better off the day X/Twitter is gone for good.

The fact that we acknowledge such people just shows how powerful we let such people be. I myself see more people on the Internet complaining about such people that such people themselves.

Except Facebook, Reddit, & TikTok would still be lurking around.

I think you meant not for “certain” parts of America.

Never understood what made people dislike these ads since it shows families, couples and friends hanging out and eating some McD meals. The ads look wholesome and popular with Japanese audience (including reasons that are nsfw).

Facebook is increasingly for old people, and now is not even available without account, also it was never as viral as Twitter. Reddit is divided into many subreddits, many of them not caring what the other ones do or write, so it's much less likely to suddenly broadcast someone's stupidity all over internet. TikTok is more like Youtube as far as I know, a social site for video, which again much more reduces the viral-ness of dumb stuff - first someone must record themselves saying dumb stuff, then other people must listen to it, and so anyone getting it shared, and most people just don't bother with it.
Twitter/X is quite unique in how it works compared to most social media, despite many similarities.

Yeah not too many of these sites are run by a guy who gets the bright idea to fire essential employees who may have such important jobs on the site such as making sure Child Pornography is properly flagged and taken down as soon as possible.
Musk swiping aside Twitter much like all the previous sites that were mentioned have problems with regards to things such as toxic user behavior, shitty moderation, people using them to get the wrong kind of clout etc. it being supposedly more unique than the others doesn’t change that fact,

TikTok has over 1 billion MAU which is 2 billion less than Facebook but singinficantly more than over half a billion MAU who use Twitter.
