The show is a surprisingly good and competent isekai, so glad to see.

The first season actually reached the end ( more or less ) of the third volume so this new is actually kind of a confirmation that the author is continuing the LN with the recent relaunch.

The S2 might acutally be ahead of the work it's adapting if the airing date is soon enough, it's very rare, last time for a LN adaptation was with Higehiro from memory.

Ok, the first season was already at the point of being a meme adaptation (well, even if it was actually fine), considering LN was axed at volume three - and still has not come back in print.

Now there is a second season confirmation that raises one simple question... HOW THE HECK?

Is it confirmed though? As far as I know, there is no official announcement for LN relaunch - to the point that even the manga adaptation of WN is currently slightly ahead of the axed printed LN form.

No, Higehiro final episode aired after LN ended

Sneaker are reprinting the original three volumes now; two are out and the third is in December. This news certainly makes it more likely it'll get the rest of the web novel in print, but it'll be a several months before March listings go up and we know for sure. (Unless they just, you know, tell people.)

You're right the airing was ahead by a few weeks but the production was made before the LN 5 was out.

The relaunch is already selling, it started in June and the Second volume this month. The story is the same with another illustrator the same as the manga chara designer actually, Yuugi Hagure.

I initially enjoyed this show, but it slowly became dull. I am happy for those who wanted another season, but I am good.

So they're going to be adapting directly from the WN for the second season, then? Has that ever actually been done before?

Regardless, happy to see the series is getting more animation. It's been a delightfully offbeat isekai. (And I have to give props to any series that shows spoiler[correct use of CPR and an AED].)

Excellent news! And most people thought this was going to be trash. Never judge a book by its cover or name.

I have to say, with this and My happy marriage it is really weird to see a confirmation for a second season after the last episode aired, some years ago you would have to wait years to have an announcement. Don't get me wrong, it's better but still weird the way times have changed. I really enjoy this series so a second season is welcomed

I'd bet that the S2 announcement came so quickly because the show is so popular, some others this season like Masterful Cat have yet to even get a dub. Yes, I held off watching thinking it could be stupid, but the reviews and comments convinced me otherwise and I am overjoyed to see S2 confirmed! The writing has such imagination behind it to be able to set up and pay off situations with only the functions of a vending machine to use while keeping believability. Fully deserved....

I hope that in the WN that Boxxo eventually becomes human again and marries Lammis.

i was very surprised to find my self watching this at first I thought it as nuts as that anme about a guy who became a slime. THAT was a bomb but this is rather good. Somehow the authour brings it off. I do hope for an eventually happy ending as a human for the MC but we will have to wait and see. the Main girl is very cute and she deserves it.
