My 190$ dollar android phone from last year has a 48 mp camera, a minimized window for calls (more like bubble), a battery that lasts all day and has expandable micro sd slot. It's baffling how some people can spend so much for a phone. Even weird is seeing RE4 and REVillage in the same headline as iphone

I am so hype to finally upgrade after 3 and a half years… it’s time to upgrade.. and then saying there is a promotion with my carrier for up to $1000 to trade in my 12 pro max.. I am sold…. Now note… I looked at my upgrade options today which is a few days early before preorders start and the 14 price is already down… and the promotion is already there and it says on there website directly on my upgrade page that they are going to trade my 12 pro max for $1000.. so in the end.. I probably going to pay $300 for everything after taxes… that’s a steal

If it can run those games natively and not through a shitty cloud service then it would be very impressive! Apple should definitely consider releasing more games on the IPhone. People barely use half of the horse power of their IPhones, so turning them into a gaming handheld will be a very good use their super powered SoCs.

Hey let me pay 1000 plus dollars for a new phone so i can play resident evil. Yeah no way that is going to happen.
I could go get a ps5 disc version and a pro controller and a resident evil copy and still have a decent amount of cash left over compared to the new iphone.

The thing is, you're not paying for a 1000$+ gaming handheld. Its an all-in-one smart phone with beefy specs that allow you to play games. If Apple are looking to get into the gaming market through their products, then its all for the better in my opinion. More competition is never a bad thing.
Also, having a single device for everything you need to do digitally is very exciting prospect! You could be done with a boring work meeting and a minute later you are suplexing spanish zombies in Re4R on the same device! Not through touch controls tho, an official Apple controller would be nice to have.

As it should. True greatness can never be stifled by time, accessibility, nor imitation.
