Dem Lacus lips. I was rewatching Armageddon for its 25th anniversary yesterday and the 2 shuttles in it were called Freedom and Independence. Obviously, Freedom reminded me of SEED. Now the next day, the subtitle of this movie is FREEDOM. You can't make this up.

I'm so pumped for this. Gundam Seed is like my third favorite anime of all time. The animation looks nice too, looks like they didn't skimp. Big hype.[/code]

Does it look like the MS's are CG though? The GINN's look CG, but the Gundam didn't. |

And there it is, the space whale. Sorely missed in Destiny. SEED has the good kind of bad writing and the strong animation can only help. I wonder how little screen time Shinn Asuka will get. Him dropping off as the protagonist was so funny. He is Kamille´s pale shadow so let´s see if he too can get his higher brain functions shut off. |

Well, it being another Kira show makes sure I will never watch it. I also have plenty of issues with Shinn, but atleast he made me feel more than just emotionless boredom like Kira does.

I just went to the Gundam reddit and some of the most upvoted posts sing the gospel of Yamato Christ himself or shitposting about whales. Half the foreign audience will show up to watch a 2 decades later sequel to an anime they saw when they were 15, with the cast likely below just below the drinking age in America. The other will show up to watch the anime equivalent of Tommy Wiseau with spoons at hand. What can go wrong? A shame Super Best Friendcast disbanded. They despised SEED:

I mean, were Gundam Seed and especially Destiny not the ultimate turn your brain off and just enjoy giant robots duking it out over a war that started because of reasons shows? It seems to me that most people will tune in just the see what Kira will pull out of his behind.

Yep they're CG and everything else looks CG because they're going overboard on the shading to make it look like the original anime but it's not matching up. |

Dude, try using sensitivy when writing. The writer died years ago due to cancer. You really make anime fans look horrible.
The original Gundam SEED was aimed towards an adult demography due to the direction being based on Japanese dramas to the point the Hoshi and Ishida often wondered if it was okay to call SEED Gundam when recording. On the other hand, other series like 00 where aimed to a younger audience to the heavier focus on action and marketing. The first Gundam was also aimed toward kids due to heavy marketing and even a group of character who simply existed for age demography. |
