one of the iconic leaf titles along with Tears to Tiara, ToHeart, and Utawarerumono. Story is too deep as i know since this is more of like grounded story of romance. I mean, as i know it has full drama and revolved around romance relationships like its predecessor that's more well received by many (WA2).
Its surprising that Shiravune picked this up for translation. but as some know Shiravune has some questionable translation quality changes and the censorship issue that's been ongoing. |

It will be deeply ironic if we get the rest of the long-awaited Great White Whale VNs (White Album 2, Kimi ga Nozumu Eien / Rumbling Hearts, etc.) translated into English, but still don’t get a legitimate release of Fate/Stay Night.

That's great! I hope the translation is up to snuff...and an official release of White Album 2 isn't far behind.

The folks at Shiravune are big Aquaplus fans, and Crest Inc. (the conglomerate that recently bought Aquaplus) has explicitly stated that they want to revive Aquaplus' older series and push international releases, so I suspect they're trying to license and release as much of Aquaplus' catalog as they can. Between this, To Heart 2: Dungeon Travelers, Dungeon Travelers 2, and DT 2-2, this is going to be a great year for English Aquaplus fans, and I won't be surprised if To Heart and Tears to Tiara come soon after them.
Regardless of any "censorship" drama, note that this version of White Album was originally released on the PS3 and never had any explicit content in it to begin with, so I don't expect that will be an issue here.
Personally, I'm deeply amused that at this point, every mainline Utawarerumono game has an official localization and F/SN is still nowhere to be seen despite having grown into a juggernaut franchise. |

Yeah, believe me, me too, me too(crosses fingers). We already got a good anime adaptation of Tears to Tiara some years ago, and even an English localization of the sequel Tears to Tiara II (not on PC though, unfortunately). |

At this point, I can only assume that not putting out an official F/SN translation is a deliberate act. If they were holding out for more money, the franchise probably peaked a few years ago and they missed their chance. It may be that they’re vaulting the original VN precisely because Fate has grown into a juggernaut, and the almost 20 year-old VN doesn’t reflect well on what the franchise has evolved into since then, with the mobile game and all the anime. |

Then that would be a good path for them. If tears to tiara have a remake that would be good choice to start rather than the old one (I tried to play it but unsuccessful years ago). Then i bet some would still argue that they could port the H-scenes and make a better version out of it. Most of what i see on some sites people wanted a mosaic free experience since they always reason out its outside of Japan release so there's no stopping them on making it better. I'm betting now they will prefer more of the remakes rather than the old pc-rom titles lol |

Rather than those, I'm still waiting for a group or official release of Palette's Mashiro Iro Symphony since some say its one of the best one out there. But no one dared to do it there's a group years ago but it got inactive |

What's really with people still wanted a F/SN translation? For me its been a household name every year and people would even recognize on every anime forum out there. I still think the exposure and the numerous titles (anime and games etc) it had is already enough for the developers to thrive for more than 10 years and up. |

Wow, this is fantastic news! As a massive fan of the visual novel The White Album, I'm thrilled to hear that it's finally coming out in English this year. The WA series has always fascinated me with its compelling characters and emotional storytelling, and being able to experience it in my native language is a dream come true. Currently, I'm reading "12 Angry Men" for an assignment, but I'm struggling to grasp its meaning entirely. Fortunately, I found an excellent literary review check here that gives valuable information about the play. Classical literature is not always easy to grasp, so I use reviews like this to improve my understanding of books. Maybe I'll have to write an essay on visual novels someday too, but for now, I can't wait to immerse myself in the visual novel The White Album and explore its rich narrative in English!
