I wonder how Comikey is like. Do people who like Square Enix manga, but won't use MangaUP! actually like it and why? Pros and cons please.

I use both, but I'd say Comikey might be better as it's quite the steal. I don't know about things like if there's censorship though.
Pros:
Each day you have 5 charges that allow you to read any chapter prior to the latest one of any manga, webtoon, etc. for free once you've watched an ad
There's a daily ticket which is like a charge, except there's no ads
The 2 points above are per manga, webtoon, etc. Each series has its own 5 charges and daily ticket (so 6 free chapters a day per series)
I'm pretty sure the key system from Comikey is overall cheaper than the coin system from MangaUP (could be wrong though)

Cons:
MangaUP has a calendar which shows when each manga is updated, something that Comikey doesn't have, and I think it's a neat feature. Not really an issue for me though since the favourites section shows the updated series at the top
Not as many settings as MangaUP (things like image quality)

It's been so long since I've actually used my account on ANN. I got a few gripes about how revolutionary Comikey is I've installed Comikey a few years ago, read a few chapters. Hated the limited format. Mostly because if you wanted to read more than your daily allowance, you have to watch an ad. A freaking ad. Or you can buy "keys", there's 2 different types of keys. A premium key and a standard key at various pricing for a limited amount of keys. I'd rather pay for an actual standard amount each month than waste my time watching ads and or buying key bundles. Another loss is that these titles won't actually see the day of light as a physical book.

I swear there are a few Comikey first titles that are getting printed... they have a partnership w Hakusensha so it's sad that some series are locked to digital only
