I recently bought a kobo glo HD (I haven't opened it yet).
I'm planning on reading, but also for manga. Is the device suitable for it, will the whole page fit on the screen?
Also, from what I understand, the standard reader is quite slow for pdf etc, what's the best alternative reader, specially for manga?

Well i’d love to recommend MangaRock, but sadly it’s been taken off the app store due to licensing stuff among other reasons. An alternative to this is MangaReader and MangaZone. They’re not 100% perfect, but they work well.

On my iOS phone, there's not much I can do, so I just use the Manga Plus app and best of all, its content is legal. It has a very good interface and I am up to date with some popular manga.

I'm starting to consider switching to digital manga more now that Book Depository is shutting down. But the online stores only seem to allow "streaming" from what I can see. I have to have an active internet connection to read the manga which isn't always viable. Is there an app that can cache my purchased manga so I can read it offline?

@Holywhippet As mentioned above, one of the best applications is Tachiyomi, which has an offline feature.

The #LivelyPencil app will be out soon. I can say that it will be no different from a magazine.
