Also explicit confirmation of who all is playing who in the American side.

So Mackenyu is playing Seiya in Japanese too?

I was kind of expecting them to use more VA's from the Hades/Netflix cast. But we get Megumi Han playing a role her mother originated, which is cool.

And Daisuke Namikawa went from playing Camus to Ikki...I mean, Nero.

Weird that Nick Stahl is playing Cassios. I guess he's not supposed to be the same age as Seiya in this version.

I noticed, and she also voiced Lalah back in Gundam-san! Now I'm kinda sorry Sailor Moon Crystal cast Ryou Hirohashi as Luna. (Also, I just saw that the latter also voiced Kyou Fujibayashi in Clannad, and now I'm annoyed that Ryou's VA isn't named Kyou.)

The only other case I know of where the relationship was played on for casting was Keiko playing Mito in Hunter x Hunter 2011. Maybe she could voice Kana's mother in Oshi no Ko? That might be taking the joke too far, though.

I'm starting to feel sorry for this movie. Aside from having no significant advertising, Sony just put this movie on a collision course against The Super Mario Bros Movie in Japan.

And against Guardians of the Galaxy in the US. No faith at all.

If they thought they had anything of value, it would come out in August opposite that Ninja Turtles movie people are arguing about because of April.
