Fourth week in a row in which the PS5 is the best-seeling console, we'll see if Sony can can keep the momentum going, it'll depend if Nintendo's future games can attract new players. Regarding software:
- Hogwarts Legacy sales are impressive, worldwide the game already sold 12 million copies.
- I know nothing about Wild Hearts, but it seems to be a Monster Hunter-type of game, though its debut numbers' aren't as high as other MH clones like God Eater. I wonder if Capcom is developing a new MH game for the PS5
- Tales of Symphonia numbers on Switch are somewhat impressive considering how many bad reviews the game has received. It's also interesting how much more the game sold on Switch compared to the PS version, I know Symphonia was a GameCube originally game, but in Japan the PS2 and PS3 versions outsold the NGC version. Don't think this will convince Namco to port Tales of Arise anyway.
- For the first time in six years an XBox game in on the Top 30, Forza Horizon 5 charted on 15th place. However, it is because the game is bundled with an Xbox

Weird of you to say how interesting it is that the Switch version outsold the PS4 version while also stating that there was a PS2 and PS3 version, which is the key thing you are ignoring at the same time.

This is the 3rd port on PS while its the 1st port on a Nintendo platform since the original 2003 GC version (183,527 1st week & 322,779 LTD via Famitsu), which is higher than the PS3 version unlike what you claimed). The PS2 port (1st port in 2004) sold 269,073 1st week (442,185 LTD) via Famitsu. The PS3 port (2nd port in 2013) sold 80,891 1st week (118,809 LTD). How many times are PS users supposed to buy the same game? You know for a fact that each re-release sells lower than the release before it. Looking at the decrease for each PS port, 7k for the PS4 port (3rd port in 2023) seems reasonably (of course, it would be slightly higher, but still miniscule, with digital included since it doesn't tell the full story like the PS2 & PS3 versions do) and I never expected it to be high or outsell the Switch version because it had 2 prior ports on PS. Vesperia on PS4 (2nd port on PS) outselling the Switch version made sense while this doesn't at all. If this were the 2nd Symphonia port on PS, it would have outsold the Switch version.

Also, the Switch version sold less than the PS2 and PS3 versions despite the Switch having a higher install base than both consoles. Interesting considering its the 1st Symphonia port on a Nintendo platform. I expected higher numbers regardless of the quality of the port. Bamco made their money on PS from the PS2 and PS3 versions. This release was about the Switch version. This is a yikes for the Switch.
