Where do all of you rent anime from? (If you actually rent anime.)

I ask because I've searched at most of the places where I live and have found a very limited selection. Most of the time, I'm finding just Dragon Ball Z. It's not that easy to expand my anime knowledge when I can't even find anime to watch.

So, maybe some of you could help me out on this.

I always go to Blockbuster to rent anime. My friend's brother is an otaku and a manager at my local Blockbuster, and they have a great selection, even though a lot of it is Youth Restricted Viewing for no reason (Everytime I rent one I have to talk my mom into it, unless it's in a series that she has knowledge about, like Bebop or Lupin or something). They've got everything from old VHS tapes of Ninja Ressurection and Agent AIKa, to glossy new DVDs of Voices of the Distant Star, Lupin III: Secret of Mamo, and both Evangelion films.

the Hollywood Video where I live has some anime. they have a few DVDs, and a bunch of VHS. they also had some in there free magazine thing. it had the release date for Cowboy Bebop the movie and Akira.

one time I rented the first and second VHS of Macross Plus and found out that the first one was raw. so I didn't get to see it until I bought it.

I also go to blockbuster. It's slow building up a collection. My friend's blockbuster has so much. All of Bubblegum Crisis to all of Evangelion. Most all the anime they have is DVD. They have a huge collection of anime. 1 side of an aisle is anime.

I rent from Marché Clandestin, but very rarely, because it's in the easternmost fringes of downtown Montreal, beyond Saint Laurent boulevard, and beyond the areas of downtown I usually frequent.

Yeah, little by little Blockbusters get more anime. Just support your local one by renting as many titles as possible, and get your friends in on the act too. Most Blockbusters have at least 1 DBZ movie, or Akira or Ghost in the Shell or the Bebop Movie. My local Blockbuster, even though it has a good selection of anime, it does not have Akira. That's really odd, but they used to have it a long time ago.
