Well, at least this is only a delay of a week. Mind you, that doesn't mean later episodes won't be delayed.

Nah, this isn't even close to the number of series that got delayed at the start of the pandemic. Well over half the shows airing that season were delayed til summer at least, not to mention the number of series that had yet to air which got pushed back go Fall or later.
Plus most of those shows were full on stopped, rather than 1 or 2 week delays like some of these have been

Not true. In Spring 2020 around 11 simulcasts were delayed. And so far in this current season 7 or 8 shows have been delayed. Please don't make stuff up.

Earlier it was covid in Japan and mostly delaying series before they aired, their release date got pushed back but when they did air it was without interruption. This time its mostly covid in China since controls and public testing ended in December affecting the production of outsourced work, and its affecting series mid-broadcast.

Yup, right now it is bad, but it was way worse in 2020 when it felt like there was a delay announcement every single day.

Megaton Musashi just announced a delay due to not yet recovering from Covid delays in China impact on its production schedule. Its every day a series is announcing a delay at this point.
