Is this meant to be a story people should know about? It has a news post, a side bar post and a major news post on the rotating section. Yet it seems to be some barely known story that couldn't maintain enough interest to break past its 4th volume. (Usually around the time the first major antagonist and establishment arc would try to finish)

The lack of an encyclopedia page for either the light novel or manga (or anyone having submitted either to the queue of doom) would suggest not. However, it both helps meet the quota of non-Kadokawa titles while giving the chance to name-drop one of the author's other series that was, so win-win. Although, back in my day returning from the dead was a minimum-10% (sometimes 50% or more) penalty, so how many more years until the isekai-lead-backlash-against-OP reaches a high enough peak we start getting truly-underdog-adventurer stories again? |
