This sucks. None of the shows that Disney licensed this year are available in latinamerica.

Are they available anywhere outside of Japan/Asia? As far as I'm aware, Summer time rendering which finished airing almost half a year ago isn't even available in the US |

The other shows are available in many countries now, including the US, but for some reason STR is still nowhere to be seen in the US and possibly a few other places. |

I know STR is available in Australia but I'm not sure about other places. I don't remember if it has a dub or not. Disney has made such a mess. I understand licensing and territory distribution can be difficult but man... |

This sucks. Disney is a trash company when it comes to streaming anime overseas so they'll probably take forever to get this on Hulu. Where's Summer Time Rendering at huh?
Oh and I guess the dub will take an eternity as well. We don't even have one for the Tatami sequel. The mouse can suck it. |

Why is Disney only licensing sequels? Especially sequels to shows they don't have the rights to? Earlier this month Disney Plus got the sequel to Tatami Galaxy but not the original show. And now it's the same thing with Tokyo Revengers.
So new fans who discover the series through Disney Plus will end up being confused since the show is a continuation, and old fans may decide it's not worth continuing to follow the series since it requires getting a whole different streaming service than season 1. At least when Netflix got exclusive rights to the latest season of Jojo, they made it a point to put every previous season on the service, too. Disney doesn't seem to be doing that. You get season 2 of Revengers and if you didn't have access to the first one, too bad. Disney's usual audience isn't really into anime so if they want to get them to try it out, this not the way to do it. |

Lol shit like this is one of the reasons why I honestly would not care if CR had a so called "monopoly" in anime distribution outside of Japan. DO NOT EVEN bother trying to explain or convince me that this way of thinking is wrong. I'm a simple man, I want to strictly legally watch all my Asian cartoons in one place and that is CR despite their problems. If it don't end up on CR, I sail the high seas plain and simple. And no I don't care if their competitors are cheaper. This has always been my philosophy since the day CR went legit.
Anyways, I want to say Attack on Titan might be safe as pre-merger Funi might have secured it but I can't say the same for Rent-A-Girlfriend S3 or Slime Isekai S3. In fact just prepare for the worst case scenario since Kodansha allowed Mickey Mouse to yoink Tokyo Revenger sequel from CR. |

CR licensed Slime movie from Kodansha. I would be surprised if rights to S3 isn't bundled with the movie (Otherwise, why would CR license the Slime movie?). |

Perhaps your right, but after this news who knows what's going to happen lol. Just assume any confirmed sequels (or potential sequels) of Kodansha shows CR has previously licensed are no longer safe. |

The only fun part about Disney picking up anime is the idea of the US branch getting stuck handling a bunch of series they likely want nothing to do with. Really unfortunate that it will likely split between two streaming services everywhere else though, I wonder how the potential dub would be handled for this one since the two they've put out so far seem pretty low quality.

I wonder the implications for licensor like Muse Communications, considering Tokyo Revengers is one of their biggest anime license for Southeast Asia.
Maybe Disney+ saw the success Tokyo Revengers in Indonesia, and decides to all out to gain Indonesian market? |
