The wait for weeks to watch the livestream pained me. I knew them doing a 10th anniversary project stream near Kogami's birthday was going to lead to something big. I've been waiting for more PP and I'm glad they're delivering on the 10th anniversary.

lol at Makishima and Shou next to each other (Sakurai voices them both) and how the system was scanning all of the characters then went orange when scanning Makishima.

I can't believe it's been 10 years, but there's a new movie coming out and the teaser poster looks like everyone except the telepath from the previous airing is going to make an appearance.

Kougami is the only one not using a Dominator, unless my eyes deceive me. Some of the others have the prototype shotgun from the previous airing, while the two in the background are new and most likely the key characters for the upcoming movie.

This franchise has had it rough since S1. Can’t believe it still gets new media.

What exactly happened to this franchises western releases? Season 1, 2 and the Movie were all licensed and dubbed by Funimation. Then Funimation skipped out on Sinners of the System for no apparent reason, though it did recently get a subtitle only release recently in the UK. Season 3 got a release by Amazon, but no one has licensed it for home release.

I get it's not big in the way Attack on Titan or My Hero Academia is, but it certainly wasn't niche in the west. And I thought titles like this were supposed to be in the Western appeal category.

Would be better than not getting licensed like Sinners of the System, or not getting a dub like everything post The Movie

Yeah. And dubbed into other languages too.

Bad news may be that they may not bring the original VAs back tho.

I'm excited. With the exception of Season 2 the show has been consistently solid. Love the detective work with well placed action scenes. I loved the two new guys in season 3 but looks like they might not all make it for this new movie. Bring it on, i'm ready for more.

Opinion of course but while season 2 was not good, it also had a new director or writer if I remember correctly. Season 3 and the movies have been very solid. It gets said frequently in anime circles that anything but season 1 is garbage but that's just not the case. It's obviously successful enough to keep getting continued installments. People are watching it. I just feel like a lot of people can't move past season 1 for whatever reason. I thoroughly enjoyed season 3 just as much as season 1.

Hopefully they'll finally explain what Akane did to spend almost the entirety of season 3 in jail.

I want a few things and its disgusting:
for the love of Sibyl. Give me dubs for Psycho Pass 3, Sinners of the System, and First Inspector. Cus I'd love to rewatch em, but also I really don't want to read subtitles again. Anime cry

Nice to see the series back with Shiotani. Still, I wish Amano made the characters looked a bit older. Kogami and Ginoza were 27 in season 1 and now he they are around 33.

Just realized the elder of the keyvisual is Arata's father. Guess this is the intersequel that was hinted at the end of First Inspector.
