Excellent news! Macross Plus is one of my favorites! I hope both versions will be available.

Okay, did they just go to every extant US anime distributor and say, "Pick your Macross out of a hat!"? Razz

Really hoping there's a retail edition for Macross II.

Also wonder who's working on the discs for these.

Great news! Hopefully I can finally part with my ancient Macross Plus DVD set, I swear the box is sized for a VHS tape instead.

If it's AnimEigo, it'll be full retail/physical disc-release, no worries. Although I imagine there'll be a streaming version licensed at some point, too.

I'm a little confused about the Delta Zettai Live bit. The movie is mention in comparison to the first Delta movie… Are they getting releases too? I couldn't quite figure that out.

So Macross fans, how does it feel to get something you wanted after decades in licensing hell? Asking for a friend in another similar situation..

Is this the first AnimEigo anime release in a very, very long time that wasn't done through Kickstarter? I think it was Yawara! and they never finish bringing that over.

Shoot if true I'm buying. Gotta support my local anime company.

I plan to buy Macross Plus, but the original 1982 series is the one that I want most.

Feels good. Macross Plus is one of the last missing pieces of my anime collection.

I'll definitely be picking up Macross Plus and probably Macross II for completeness sake. Not sure how Anime Limited is, not being in the UK, but I know AnimEigo will be money well spent.
