So its for the 25th anniversary of the anime which started in April 1998. I await the trailer.
The twitter account stated an all new cast. Darn it.

Yoooo YOOOOOO
New Trigun? Maybe they can follow the manga all the way through. I hope for the eventual dub they keep the OG cast. But regardless, I'm excited.

Full CG is a concern, but this is Orange, so I think it'll be fine. And unlike many other remakes, this one is deserved, because the original anime was riddled with fillers.

I'm really open and interested to seeing what Orange can do with a property like this (especially since something like a Rie Matsumoto-led production would be a complete pipe dream).

This studio outdid themselves with Beastars so I have faith in the animation. Love and peace

Nice, a new Trigun anime. Hopefully, it will be good regardless if it’s CGI or not, it’s the execution that matters. Also despite not truly following the manga, the Trigun anime did told a pretty good story, in my opinion. Also the soundtrack was phenomenal.

Nooooo it being all CGI was my monkey's paw wish. :< I don't care how "good" Orange is, I don't want my baby to be CGI.
Also Vash is all blond, so unless they're starting at the very beginning of the manga, that means no Maximum adaptation. Hell, it says "original" so it might be yet another feature length filler episode like the movie.
At least we'll get more merch...

Whether it's a remake, sequel or full CGI won't change how happy i will be to see Vash's antics. And here I first thought the bounty new would be an anime teaser but immediately dismiss the though, never stop to hope.

I'd be happier with glorious 2D animation but I AM happy. I never, ever thought this would happen.

Studio Orange is a downer to hear. I'd love to have seen it done traditionally like Badlands Rumble which felt like a natural update to the old style.

I would love, love, love a new adaptation of the Trigun manga that sticks close to the manga storyline. But a CG one? Eh, I hope it's at least a (good) combination of 2D and 3D.
The promo image, while cool, isn't really much to go on.
(If it gets dubbed into English, they should bring back JYB as Vash.)

Damn
Expecting dub recasts again just like Badlands Rumble and considering recent events, I expect Vash to be included.

Meh, I found the original manga version of Trigun to be deeply messy and unfocused compared to the 1998 anime. So can't say I'm looking forward to a version that adheres closer to that. At least, I can have the assurance that the CGI animation here will be good as Orange did help set the gold standard with Land of the Lustrous.
