Probably didn't get selected due to not being a Mathematician, different kind of Mathematician or Statistician. I'm not surprised at all but I am little disappointed.

Just pay for it - there's space tourism now
(May need to hitch up with someone rich though)

If she wants to go to space, it might be best to just fork over the dosh for a tourist seat. I would assume, considering how young she began her career in entertainment, she doesn't have the necessary level of education to become a career astronaut.
Those quick dips above the Karman line are also counted as being in space I think, so there's that option too. Or does she mean actually getting to orbit? Like to ISS? Or climb even higher out of the gravity well? (Not that there's anything there besides satellites, and then the moon.)

No shock here unless she's on her YouTube channel doing like multi-variable calculus in her head or something.

Well perhaps she'll get to take another crack at it at some point in the future.

That's what I'm hoping.
