He's not trying to pass it off or deny anything, so that's something, I guess.

Before someone said " He not been punish hard enough!", please considerate that Japanese prison isn't like the USA, especially for non-violent crimes. Giving him a prison sentence is almost the same as giving him a stay in luxurious hotel pay by the govt. It's better to put him on probation.

I have a suspicion you're confusing Japan with some other country here. Japanese prisons are known to be very strict, you'd definitely want to be on probation rather than inside....

I might have exasperated a bit but my point is as long as it the person isn't a threat to society, incarcerate isn't necessary and wasteful. Also the prison in Japan aren't run by companies prison time wouldn't be as bad as the US.

They may be strict but they don't have >80% of inmates being violent rapists or murderers that will rape you and kill you.

Wow, those responses to him on Twitter having possessing CP is...interesting.
They'll support him, which is their right to, but as far as good behavior is concerned, what is actually gonna happen? Is he going to seek therapy or something?
There are more responses to hoping the Manga coming back in the future, but maybe I can't feel that same way.

You'd be surprised to know that people are willing to throw their support to questionable people (who have commited things even worse than possession of CP).

Vague reply, could you elaborate for an old friend, perhaps?

They should've just given him a prison sentence instead of a suspended one. You and I both know he'll do it again.
