I assume it will be a longtime, if ever, before this gets put on another streaming service? I wonder if Viz will at least license it for home video release, as they handled the home release and dub for Parts1-5.

Netflix really isn't that good at handling anime.
Man they take way too long.

David Productions are doing Lum The Invader Girl this year which is a straight run of 52 episodes. (as well as Spriggen) I guess they need to get a decent headstart on that to avoid any possible delays.

Ohhhhh didn't know that and forgot they are also working on the Spriggan movie.
Yeah the long wait time here most likely has to do with that, at least partly so.

Spriggan won't be a movie, but a series.

Didn't Netflix say that episode batches were going to be released monthly? Or were they just jerking us around?

It'll probably need to be redubbed knowing Netflix but at least Viz could get the cast back for new retakes.

The first 12 were clearly rushed through production and now gaps gaps gaps. I can wait but this show´s distribution is a failure on all fronts. Having to drop another batch at once will also lead to more quality control issues. I wonder what the BluRay releases will look like as the later TV broadcast fixed audio issues for example.
The last ever show in this canon, maybe even the last ever JoJo anime not about Rohan, deserves better but the manga itself has issues too of course.

A few reliable sources confirmed that the production for the Spriggen series was finished a while ago. That's on Netflix now, they insist to dub their shows in every language possible hence the long wait.
