D: I swear, Trigun is one of the good English dubbed anime series that I have heard... It's also my first anime which I watched in English. May Kirk Baily aka Knives rest in peace.

I never knew he was Knives. Then again, I haven't watched Trigun in years, and forget what Knives sounded like. Knew him mainly as Ug from "Salute Your Shorts" from my childhood. RIP

I only knew him as Ug. I never knew he voiced in anime. I loved Salute Your Shorts back in the day. Rest in Peace.

A god damn shame lung cancer of all things given his main profession was working with his voice.

I honestly had no idea that the "Ug" from my childhood also did voice acting work. I love Trigun, but it's been a long time since I've watched it, so I honestly don't remember his voice. This is very cool to know, though.

Oh wow...I loved Salute your Shorts, and Trigun was one of my favorite anime. He will be missed. 59 is too young. Rest in Peace.
